The Office of the City Administrator is created pursuant to Section 480, Article X of the Local Government Code, and works under the broad policy guidance of the Mayor, performing highlevel administrative, technical and professional work in directing and supervising the City Government.
FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees the day-to-day operations, long-term and strategic planning, and financial management of the city
- Responsible for the professional development of the City Government officials and employees
- Implements and monitors the policies and directives issued by the City Mayor and members of the City Council
- Responds promptly to all inquiries and requests of constituents
- Disseminates information regarding the city’s activities.
