- Preparation of allotment

- Systematic recording and monitoring of expenditures versus allocated resources

- Coordinate efforts with the Accounting and Treasury Offices

Preparing the City Budget
1. Issuance of the budget call by the local chief executive
2. Submission of estimate of income by the local finance committee
3. Preparation of notice to all department heads for submission of office budgets
4. Collation of all office budgets
5. Budget review and budget hearings
6. Submission to local Sanggunian
7. Revisions, if any
8. Finalization
9. Authorization through an appropriations ordinance by the local Sanggunian
Accomplishments
1. No overdrafts incurred
2. No deficit spending
3. All accounts obligated are paid after all proper documents are completed
4. Continuing appropriations duly funded
5. Generation of savings and surpluses without prejudice to project and program implementations.
