The city experience only one type of climate which is characterized by two pronounce seasons

Wet Season - May to October

Maximum rainfall is usually from June to September. The average annual rainfall is 2405.1 millimeters with a monthly peak of 504.2 millimeters in August and a low of 7.2 millimeters in February.

TROPICAL CYCLONE


Metro Manila experienced 36 tropical cyclones in 1996, 3 of which were tropical depressions, 24 were tropical storms and 9 were typhoons. Metro Manila is experiencing an average of 19.6 typhoons per year, the highest was in 1986 with 21 typhoons.
