Loyce Pace from the American Cancer Society (left) recently paid a courtesy call on Marikina City Mayor Marides Fernando (right). Pace expressed support for “Ating Dibdibin,” the national breast cancer screening pilot program which was launched in Marikina on June 6. Pace pledged technical support for the program which aims to facilitate breast cancer screening for some 57,000 women. Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala, founding president of ICanServe Foundation (center), accompanied Pace. ICanServe, a breast cancer advocacy group, co-launched Ating Dibdibin under the auspices of the American Cancer Society, made possible by a grant from Pfizer Foundation USA and Pfizer Philippines.
