“TAKBO BAYANI” Fun Run a big success

 Over 4,000 participants joined the “Takbo Bayani” fun run on Aug. 17 at the Marikina Riverpark. Organized by the city government of Marikina in cooperation with BOTAK Isports, the event aimed to highlight the progress and transformation Marikina has achieved and, at the same time, promote a health and active lifestyle which the city advocates. Among those who took part in the fun run were (from right) Marikina Mayor Marides Fernando, MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando, Rep. Del de Guzman, and Councilor Vic Sambiniano. |
