SERVICES
1. Develops the plan for the city’s bike lanes project and supervises its construction and maintenance, in coordination with the City Engineering Office (CEO) and World Bank (donor agency)
2. Provision of safe and strategic parking facilities, road signages and maps, including planting of trees in designated areas of the bikeways network
3. Forges partnerships with local and foreign organizations to facilitate easy access to bicycles for local residents
4. Conducts a Bicycle Education & Safety Clinic for the local youth.
REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THE MARIKINA YOUTH CYCLING CLUB:
- School I.D. for youth wanting to participate in the Bicycle Education & Safety Clinic
- Letter of intent from private groups expressing interest to be designated as Bike Patrols.
