Marikina, Talisay sign sister-cities pact
Marikina and Talisay in Negros Occidental officially became sister cities with the signing of an agreement on July 14. Marikina Mayor Marides Fernando (second from left) welcomed the forging of the sister-city partnership, describing it as an “opportunity to creatively learn, work, and solve problems through local, business, and technical exchanges and projects.”
